1) What this policy covers

This policy covers the public sunglasses.dev website and the choices available through the site consent banner. It does not replace the open-source license for the Sunglasses codebase or any separate terms that may govern direct business relationships.

2) What information we collect

Sunglasses does not run user accounts, payment collection, or login flows on this public site.

3) How we use information

4) Consent and analytics

The site currently uses a default-deny consent model for non-essential Google analytics storage. In the live implementation we reviewed:

5) Third-party services referenced in the current site setup

Service Observed role in current review Consent posture
Google Analytics 4 (G-2TMTDH8L2J) Optional analytics for measuring page performance and traffic after visitor approval. Held behind consent in the current live implementation we reviewed.
Cloudflare analytics beacon Operational/site analytics beacon observed loading on the public site. No cookies were observed from it in our fresh-session check; treat as site analytics infrastructure.
First-party site scripts Site rendering, counters, and interface behavior. Loaded as part of normal site operation.

6) Sharing and disclosure

Sunglasses uses third-party infrastructure to run the website and optional analytics, which means some visitor data can be processed by service providers that help deliver the site (Cloudflare for hosting and analytics infrastructure, Google for optional analytics after consent). Sunglasses does not sell visitor data.

7) Retention

Consent state remains in your browser until you clear it or overwrite it with a new choice. Optional analytics retention can depend on the analytics platform configuration and your browser. Email retention depends on normal inbox handling unless a stricter policy is adopted later.

8) Your choices

9) Security

Sunglasses is itself a security product, but this page should stay factual: no website is risk-free. Reasonable technical and organizational measures should be used to protect operational systems and communications.
