In one line

Use the site and the open source tool freely, do not attack them, and know that our social apps only ever act on accounts we own.

1) What these terms cover

sunglasses://terms/scope
Site and channels

These terms govern the public sunglasses.dev website and the content we publish on it and on the Sunglasses social channels (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X and LinkedIn).

Connected apps

They also cover the publishing apps we operate to post that content through each platform's official API.

The code

The Sunglasses scanner is open source and licensed under the license in its repository. That license, not this page, governs the code.

2) Who we are

sunglasses://terms/who
Operator

Sunglasses is an open source security project for AI agent tooling, published at sunglasses.dev and on PyPI as sunglasses. Contact for anything on this page: [email protected].

3) Using the site and the tools

sunglasses://terms/use
01

You may read, link to and share site content. Quotes need a link back to the source page.

02

You may not attack, probe, scrape at abusive rates or try to break the site, its hosting or the social accounts. Responsible security reports are welcome at the contact address.

03

The open source tool is provided as is under its own license. Scan results are information, not a guarantee; you stay responsible for what you run.

4) Our social channels and connected apps

sunglasses://terms/social
What the apps do

Our own software posts Sunglasses videos and text to our own accounts on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X and LinkedIn through each platform's official API. It also reads the public statistics of those posts.

Only our accounts

The apps act only on accounts we own. They do not post to, read from or message other people's accounts.

Your interaction

If you comment, reply or message a Sunglasses account, the platform's own terms and privacy policy govern that interaction. We may read and answer it through the same official APIs.

Your data

We do not sell or share that data. See the privacy policy.

AI generated content

Our videos are made with AI tools (voice, animation, script assistance) and carry the AI label where a platform offers one.

Facts

Facts in them come from named sources. Corrections go to the contact address.

5) Content and intellectual property

sunglasses://terms/ip
Ours

Site text, videos, artwork and the Sunglasses name and logo belong to the project. You may share them with attribution. You may not present them as your own or imply endorsement.

Third parties

Platform names and competitor product names belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

6) No warranties, limited liability

sunglasses://terms/liability
As is

The site, the tool and our content are provided as is, without warranties of any kind.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the site, the tool or the content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7) Changes and termination

sunglasses://terms/changes
01

We may update these terms; the date at the top is the version that applies. Material changes get a note on this page.

02

We may stop publishing, remove content or disconnect an app at any time.

8) Governing law

sunglasses://terms/law
Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Venue

Disputes go to the courts of San Diego County, California, unless the law where you live gives you a right to something else.

9) Contact
